Terry’s Q&A

What’s your greatest personal achievement?

Passing my MSc in Human Resource Management. I hadn’t studied the subject before so I spent a lot of time in the university library where I soaked up as much information as possible.

What’s the best bit of advice you've ever been given?

It can sound like a cliché but, ‘If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got’ is eminently sensible advice in all areas of life. Be brave enough to try something different if what you’ve always done isn’t working.

What is your favourite TV series?

Doctor Who. I can’t even remember when I started watching it but rest assured it was at a very early age, and the Doctor’s curiosity, sense of justice and quirky sense of humour are all fine qualities to have. I also can’t hold a pen without pretending that it’s a Sonic Screwdriver.

What do you wish other people knew about HR Solutions?

That we’re not some kind of faceless call centre like some of our larger rivals, we’re a people focused business full of very talented folk who aim to understand and support your business.
