Rob is CIPD qualified with a distinction gained in the CIPD Level 7 Employment Law module.
After nearly 20 years working in the logistics sector within managerial roles for blue chip companies, Rob was keen to restore his work life balance and therefore decided on a career change. His next career was an easy choice to make as the aspects of his previous roles that he most enjoyed were interacting with people and human resources. Rob self-funded his Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) training whilst working long hours and changeable shifts. With the support of his partner, Rob dedicated over a year, working away from home during the week, in order to gain HR experience in Dartford, Erith, Hinkley and Bedford.
Rob’s dedication and management experience, bring great value to his current role as HR Consultant at HR Solutions where he is now advising directors and managers on a wide range of HR issues. Robs other key insights gained at Gap Inc, Asda, Morrisons, Palmer & Harvey and Peninsula that will prove of benefit to HR Solutions’ clients are his past operations management experience with a USA based organisation that expanded into Europe; as well as organisational skills gained within the fast paced fresh and frozen foods sector.
Outside of work Rob enjoys travelling as well as dedicating himself to the life-time task of trying to get good at playing the blues and boogie piano.
