We recognise the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (and all subsequent legislation), and we intend to provide a safe working environment and systems of work for all of our employees.
We understand that the management of health and safety in the workplace contributes to the overall performance of the business.
However successful health and safety management is dependent on the active commitment and participation of every employee, not just those at the top.
HR Solutions will ensure our complete compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation. This includes our duty of care, managing and monitoring all accidents and incidents and protecting our employees, sub-contractors, consultants and visitors.
We are therefore committed to:
Developing and maintaining a culture of health and safety throughout the organisation.
Operating to the highest health and safety standards, with legal compliance as the minimum.
Reviewing our health and safety performance and management.
Providing the instruction, training and supervision to our employees as necessary.
Bringing this policy to the attention of all of our employees and ensuring that they understand their own responsibilities for health and safety in the workplace.
The Directors will specifically ensure that:
The required risk assessments are undertaken.
They provide employees with a safe working environment, work equipment and methods of working.
Employees are encouraged to report any hazard or potential hazard that could cause harm.
The ultimate responsibility for our commitment to this policy lay with the Directors of HR Solutions (Consultancy) Limited. However we expect every employee to give their full cooperation to this policy, and to take reasonable care for their own safety and that of others involved in or affected by our activities. This includes all sub-contractors, consultants or visitors. We also expect any visitors to HR Solutions to abide by this policy.
We will give health and safety equal priority to all other business objectives.
The Directors will review the effectiveness of this policy at least annually in order to ensure that the business remains compliant with relevant legislation. We will bring all changes to this policy to the attention of our employees as necessary.
