As a HR Consultant, Dawn has experience in many different areas of HR. Qualified to CIPD Level Three and Five, Dawn draws on her extensive knowledge in grievance, disciplinary, investigations and probation throughout her role with HR Solutions.
Starting as a HR Administrator back in 2011, Dawn has had a passion for HR for many years. Dawn consistently looks to develop her skills and is currently working towards CIPD Level Seven.
Having worked in the scientific research, education and charity sectors, Dawn joins HR Solutions to deliver expert, consultative advice to its clients. Prior to starting her role at HR Solutions, Dawn helped to implement new HR initiatives for a workforce of more than 180 staff members.
When Dawn isn’t progressing her skills, she enjoys reading and salsa dancing in her spare time.

What’s your greatest Personal Achievement?
Achieving my qualifications. I hadn’t studied since GCSE’s 20 years previous and with two children, one on the way and working full time, I really embraced the opportunity and it made passing my exams more enjoyable.
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
My mum always says to me “Always reach for the moon, if you fail to reach it you will end up lying on a bed of stars. Nothing is unachievable if you work hard.” Something that I tell my children regularly.
What is your favourite song?
“Somewhere over the rainbow,” by Eve Cassidy has been my favourite song since I was little. I used to sing this with my Nan so it brings back some lovely memories.
What do you wish other people knew about HR Solutions?
That they are a small, welcoming and friendly team that really care about providing the best service. They have the knowledge and experience to be able to deliver this service professionally and confidentially. Individuals bring their own strengths and experiences which they share with colleagues, making them a diverse team with a wealth of knowledge.
