Since our ezine dated 18 July, the latest figures out today on the number of reported swine flu cases is now over 100,000 and 31 people have died. This was the figure that was estimated to be by the end of August which shows the virulent spread of the virus.

Today, the Government has launched its Pandemic Flu Service that can be accessed either via the internet where you can assess your symptoms, or you can ring it direct.

You are now asked not to ring your GP if you feel you have swine flu but to contact the Pandemic Flu Service.

You can do this on line at:  www.pandemicflu.direct.gov.uk

Or by calling 0800 1 513 100

Due to the launch of this service, we have updated our swine flu template on our website that you can use to inform you employees about.

Testimonial

"I first met Carol at a monthly FSB meeting in 2003 when she spoke about her business. At the time I was suffering from a number of personnel issues and realised that as a small business I needed some assistance. I met with Carol a few days later and was immediately impressed with her straight talking professionalism. I have retained Carol for sometime now and what a difference it has made not only from the day to day personnel issues but from the recruitment of new staff too. I can now concentrate on my businesses!"
