Changes to Statutory Rates - 1 February 2009

From the 1st February 2009 the following statutory rates will be changed.

  • Limit on guarantee payments       £21.50
  • Limit on a week’s pay for calculating redundancy payments and an unfair dismissal basic award at an Employment Tribunal    £350
  • Maximum compensatory award for Unfair Dismissal at an Employment Tribunal          £66,200
  • Maximum basic award for Unfair Dismissal (30 weeks’ pay) at an Employment Tribunal          £10,500
  • Contract Claims (if a claim is for breach of contract (wrongful dismissal) at an employment tribunal.         £25,000
