They are now looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Director to join their team.
Sales & Marketing Director – Role Description
The Global Sales & Marketing Director will be responsible for facilitating growth, by way of establishing and directing the marketing and sales development for our client’s brands including advertising and public relations.
The successful candidate will work towards achieving objectives such as cost reduction, revenue generation and risk mitigation in conjunction with other members of the senior management team.
Sales & Marketing Director – Key Responsibilities
The Sales & Marketing Director role entails the following responsibilities:
- Direct and co-ordinate company formal sales and marketing functions
- Develop and co-ordinate sales listings and promotions
- Direct and oversee the company’s marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services
- Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of formal sales channels
- Develop and manage international sales support and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets
- Assign formal or distributor sales territory and target groups
- Co-ordinate sales activities with other work units or departments
- Research competitors’ products/services
- Plan and co-ordinate public affairs, and communication efforts to include public relations and online marketing
- Directly manage major and critical developing formal client accounts
- Participate in the development of new product proposals ensuring that New Product Line’s are brand fit
- Establish and implement short and long range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
- Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials
- Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company
- Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programmes
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors and distributors
- Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations
- Work with other members of the senior management team to develop three to ten year business plans for the company
- Establish and implement short and long range departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
