Central Services Administrator

Our client is a high profile national charity with a local presence throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our client operates in a fast-paced, politicised environment, dealing with complex and often controversial social issues and with multiple stakeholders.
They are now looking for an experienced Central Services Administrator to add to their team.
The Role:
The role is to provide direct administrative and financial support to the Chief Executive, Senior Management Team, Head Office and Regional Offices as part of the Central Services Team.
Duties:
- To undertake an administrative service to the CEO, the Heads of departments, Head office and Regional offices.
- To carry out routine financial operations in accordance with orgnaisational procedures
- Support the Central Services Team in producing information for monitoring and planning purposes.
- Be the primary contact for the regional offices.
- Be main point of contact for the organisation’s outsource finance company
- Monitoring of cash flow
- Review debtors and creditors
- Agree payments and obtain authorisation signature
- Asset register maintenance and depreciation posting
- Monitor and evaluate efficiency of control procedures in place
- Challenge and improve control procedures in place
- Assist payroll bureau in the preparation of payroll. Collect information and email the final salary changes within the agreed dead lines
- Oversee e-communications and organisation database
- Administration of company credit cards
- Maintain central HR files including sickness and annual leave
- Pension administration in liaison with Pension Company
- Manage the legacies register
- Liaise with solicitors and legacy advisors to maxmise legacy income
- Supervise the Administration Assistant
- Health and Safety at Head Office
- Petty Cash management and reconciliation
