HR Coordinator – Role Description
Reporting to a Director the HR Coordinator’s role will be to provide day-to-day HR advice and administrative support in relation to existing staff, new starters and leavers.
The role will involve addressing first line employee relations matters supporting line managers and Directors with day to day HR issues.
HR Coordinator – Key Responsibilities
The HR Coordinator role entails the following duties & responsibilities:-
- Recruitment - arrange interviews, prepare interview notes, send out offer/unsuccessful letters and check references
- Pre-employment screening – arrange CRB and identity checks in a timely manner
- New starters – prepare contracts for signature from a Director and induction packs
- Provide general HR support to Directors and Managers
- Handle maternity, paternity, adoption and parental leave process and queries
- Provide HR advice and guidance too line managers on routine HR queries and issues
- Provide support in disciplinary and grievance investigations
- Ensure probationary review periods are conducted in a timely manner
- Manage the leavers process, including exit interviews and holiday calculations
- Assist in the development of new and existing HR policies and procedures
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties in order to support the HR Department or as directed by the line manager or Company Directors
